No One Supports Me!

About Me
Do you often feel that you lack support from others be it your family, friends, office peers or employees if you manage a business?
Do you feel alone at these times?
Do you feel that your needs are not important to others or a priority and this can lead to resentment?
What if the next time you feel like that you stop those thoughts and ask yourself are 'you' supporting yourself? Chances are if you're feeling that way then your self support tank may need some refueling. When we judge the the world and feel unsupported, it's time to look within and start making it a priority to address those needs and take action to support them. If we continue to let this negative thinking continue they can become a habit and increase exponentially. Dr. Daniel Amen a psychiatrist and brain specialist calls these negative thoughts 'ANTS' an acronym for 'another negative thought(s)'. Did you know that by changing your thinking you can immediately stop those 'ants' and improve your attitude and disposition? Choosing to change your thoughts is so much more healthier than holding onto resentment that can lead to a lack of energy, a bad attitude and ultimately burn out.
So the next time you find yourself feeling the lack of support, realize this is a red flag letting you know it's time to indulge in some loving self support. This can be a very positive reminder so you can begin to schedule priority time for yourself and if outside support is warranted, take action and by all means implement what it takes to get that help.
Taking control and scheduling action to implement support for yourself is the best remedy to chase the "no one supports me" ants. Scheduling is key so that what needs to be initated gets done. Being nice to yourself is the first place to start. If you need additional support let those around you know and don't expect people to read your mind. If they don't know you need additional help, they probably won't think to offer it and perhaps they too need some support. You may even be able to collaborate together and support one another which can be a win-win for allš
Communication is essential so look where there has been a lack and map out a plan on how & when you are going to take action. Your feelings and thoughts are your barometer letting you know something is up and it's time to make some changes. This is a good thing because these negative thoughts can navigate you into healthier positive thinking.
It's all about choice. Choosing positive thoughts, taking time for nurturing self care and communicating to those around us when we need help is a much healthier way to support yourself. So the next time you cry out no one is supporting me what are you waiting for?
It's time to support youš

About Me
My passion about health started in my teens when I first hand saw the effects of how illness can wreck havoc in a family growing up with parents who had serious health issues. I too struggled with losing weight & developed an eating disorder that I was able to heal by educating myself on healthier habits. Itās amazing what our bodies can do when we learn to take care of them like God intended. These experiences & challenges fueled my passion to be a life long student in pursuit of learning how to create healthier lifestyles where one can thrive at their optimal best. As a mother of 3 children & a wife of a traveling husband, I quickly learned how to implement healthy habits on the go so that I could be my healthy best for my family. This has evolved into my health coaching business Thriving With Health where I coach people to integrate simple & fun healthy 'bitesā throughout their day even on their most busiest & challenging ones. You are never too busy to take care of your health & I can show you how. Everyone has busy lifestyles and living at their optimum best is not only doable but can be fun as well!
