These Sweet Treat Energy Balls could also be a quick grab and go breakfast omitting the chocolate chips or not! Super easy to make and super easy to transport.
Sweet Treat Energy Balls
Prep: 10 minutes
Yield: 24 balls
Ingredients
2 cups raw uncooked oats
1/4 cup almond meal or favorite protein powder for added protein
1/2 cup nut butter of choice
1/4+ cup honey or maple syrup to taste
1/4+ cup water
1/2+ cup chocolate chips or nibs
Directions
Mix all the ingredients together until well combined and moist enough to stay together. You may need to add a little more water if too dry. The nut butter you use can affect the moisture depending on how much oil is in it. Store in an airtight container and they can last up to a week in the refrigerator if not gobbled down before.
