Staying Jolly During The Holidays Day #3

Today we are reflecting on the 'l' in our Holiday Series on how to get & stay jolly during the holidays.

L ~ Love

'L' is the perfect letter to represent 'love' during the holiday season. It's so important to take time for some self loving indulgence so that you don't burn out and find yourself lacking the energy to enjoy the holidays.

What do you love to do that loves you back and recharges your batteries? 

Perhaps it's as simple as taking a walk and enjoying some quiet time and some exercise all by yourself or with a friend. How about a decadent bubble bath surrounded with your favorite scented candles perhaps along with your favorite glass of bubbly too!  The most important part of self care & self love is that you will do it!

Make a date with yourself today & take some time off from the holiday crazy and do something that will give back to you❤️

 

L ~ Lemon Water 

Focusing on 'l' today how about you pour yourself a glass of water and add some lemon juice and lemon slices. This is a delicious & healthy way to refresh, hydrate and give your body a healthy boost of antioxidants. Lemons are not only good for alkalizing your body, they are great for your complexion and they taste amazing too! Lemon water is the perfect beverage to start your day off on a healthy start and this makes a great cocktail minus the alcohol in the evening at holiday parties too🍋

 L ~ Exercise You Love Doing

A great exercise to focus on 'l' is one that you love to do and will do it! Walking is a great way to get your exercise in during the busy holiday season. So bundle up, maybe listen to your favorite tunes, invite a friend or take your pup & go get some healthy exercise that you enjoy and love doing!
