Option A ~ Fudgesicles
Option B ~ Frozen Chocolate Bites
Who doesn't love fudgesicles! Growing up as a kid they were always a favorite and refreshing treat that my friends and I enjoyed on those hot summer days. The problem with commercial brands is that they may contain processed ingredients that may not be healthy for you.
Problem solved!
Make your own so you know what's in them and create your own simply delicious and nutritious versions that you can make with your kiddos or grand kiddos❣️ Invite them and their friends to have some fun learning how to make their own tasty and healthy treats👍
You can make fudgesicles or you can use silicone molds and make frozen chocolate bites in fun shapes and sizes!
For a creamier fudgesicle add an avocado that is fully ripe but not yet brown. This is a great way to use your ripe avocado and they create a richer and creamier texture. Don't worry about tasting the avocado because the cocoa powder together with the maple syrup and the vanilla extract take care of that deliciously!
You can add unsweetened shredded coconut, chocolate/mint chips or nibs for variety. Experiment and create your own versions that Thriving With Health likes to call your unique masterpieces❣️
Place all the ingredients into your processor and blend well
NOTE: If using avocado for a creamier and richer version, make sure that all the avocado flesh has been blended thoroughly and that there aren't any bits of flesh left.
Pour in your molds of choice and freeze for at least 4 hours or ideally overnight. Run warm water over the base to loosen or just pop them out of their silicone mold. The chocolate bites will start to melt quickly so you want to pop them into your mouth right out of the freezer for a rich and delicious chocolate treat pleasure without any guilt because they only contain real healthy ingredients😋

About Me
My passion about health started in my teens when I first hand saw the effects of how illness can wreck havoc in a family growing up with parents who had serious health issues. I too struggled with losing weight & developed an eating disorder that I was able to heal by educating myself on healthier habits. It’s amazing what our bodies can do when we learn to take care of them like God intended. These experiences & challenges fueled my passion to be a life long student in pursuit of learning how to create healthier lifestyles where one can thrive at their optimal best. As a mother of 3 children & a wife of a traveling husband, I quickly learned how to implement healthy habits on the go so that I could be my healthy best for my family. This has evolved into my health coaching business Thriving With Health where I coach people to integrate simple & fun healthy 'bites’ throughout their day even on their most busiest & challenging ones. You are never too busy to take care of your health & I can show you how. Everyone has busy lifestyles and living at their optimum best is not only doable but can be fun as well!
