Health Is Your Greatest Wealth
Often one thinks of money and material things as a measure of their wealth, however your health is the greatest wealth you will ever have. If you are not healthy and thriving, every part of your life will be affected and this can affect those around you that you love and care about the most. Sometimes we get so caught up in the doing & the having that we don't realize we're not taking care of the greastest gift we've ever been given ~ you.
Our busy frantic days are scheduled be it on our devices, in our planners or on sticky notes that are full of to do's. We enjoy and sometimes get a rush when we can check them off one by one only to add a bunch more and start the race all over again.
Let me ask you a question? Do you include & invest time for you? Does this investment for yourself happen daily and is it something that will recharge your batteries and will grow your health bank account regularly?
Being healthy is a lot more than what we eat & how often we exercise. Yes they are important too but not alone. Being healthy also includes your mental, emotional and spiritual well being. Health is all about balance and when one of these is off, it can affect all the areas of your life. Living a thriving & healthy life is about what you are 'choosing' to do and not to do.
One of my favorite questions I ask clients to ask themselves so they can realize a possible negative choice "is what I am about to do or not to do going to love me back?" We may love bad habits but we know deep down they most certainly won't love us back. We can tell by the way we feel after & sometimes even during or even before when considering. Learn how to recognize this and it will become easier and easier to stop and replace with something much more positive and better for your health and you will no longer want to love what doesn't love you.
It's so easy to put ourselves last on our busy lists, if we even include us at all. How about today you look at your schedule and make a fun & healthy date with yourself & maybe invite someone special to come along too.
Health is your greatest asset and it is an investment. This investment cannot depend on crazy diets, lack of sleep & exercise and ongoing stress. This kind of lifestyle can perpetuate & promote eating processed junk food on the run that was made in a plant full of nasty chemicals that isn't even plant based. Living like this leaves you little or no energy so exercise is avoided. Welcome brain fog and a myriad of other unhealthy issues.
You may have all the money and toys in the world but if you don't have your health none of that will matter. Is living a crazy life that is full of stress and preventing you from taking care of yourself worth it? In fact not choosing to learn how to take care of your health is not only irresponsible but it can be selfish for those around you that love you and they want you to be around them for as long as possible.

My passion about health started in my teens when I first hand saw the effects of how illness can wreck havoc in a family growing up with parents who had serious health issues. I too struggled with losing weight & developed an eating disorder that I was able to heal by educating myself on healthier habits. As a mother of 3 children & a wife of a traveling husband, I quickly learned how to implement healthy habits on the go so that I could be my healthy best for my family.
