Did you know that your body is composed of between 55 and 78% water depending on your size? Did you know that your brain is made up of about 75% water?
That is why it’s so important to stay hydrated but water doesn’t have to be the same old same old. You can easily spruce it up with slices of lemons, limes, oranges, strawberries, watermelon, cucumbers or some sprigs of fresh mint. You can add whole berries like blueberries, raspberries or blackberries too. Experiment and have fun trying out different combinations. Not only does this make your water more refreshing it boost additional healthy nutrients as well. 8 (8 oz) glasses of water per day has been recommended. Others suggest that you divide your body weight in pounds in half and consume that many in ounces. You know your body the best so see what amount works well by how you feel.

I too struggled with losing weight & developed an eating disorder that I was able to heal by educating myself on healthier habits. As a mother of 3 children & a wife of a traveling husband, I quickly learned how to implement healthy habits on the go so that I could be my healthy best for my family.
