Staying Jolly During The Holidays Day #2
Yesterday we foused on 'H' for Happiness & Humor. Today we're focusing on the leter 'O' the second letter in Holiday. What better way to reduce the stress in our lives especially during the Holiday Season than to focus on Order & Organization.
Where can you make a big difference in your day to day routine with being organized & creating order even in tiny ways during the Holiday Season?
*Scheduling and list making in ways you will utilize (sticky notes are great for this:-)
*Perhaps getting your car decluttered & cleaned?
*Taking a time out to get rid of the 'stuff' that gets in your way and tossing it in bins/boxes to go through later? Better yet donate! Out of sight keeps it out of mind and that can be so cleansing & reenergizing!
*Taking a break from social media & going for a walk instead?
*Organize & clean out your refrigerator which at this time of year is a bonus!

'O' Exercise
One Legged Leg Balance
Maintaining our balance for health is very important at any age. The tree pose in yoga is an excellent way to keep your balance sharp.
You can also take turns standing on one leg while you wait in line at the store simply by wrapping the other foot around your ankle and I bet no one will even notice although our teenager thinks they will:-)
When standing for long periods of time take this opportunity to improve your balance standing on one leg at a time and see how long you can hold. Practice this frequently and you will be paid back many times over by strenthening your ability to balance which will keep your body strong and help prevent injuries.

Every single day and every Season are special and precious gifts not to be taken for granted. Be present and take time to enjoy the Holidays with loved ones including your fur babiesš¾

About Me
My passion about health started in my teens when I first hand saw the effects of how illness can wreck havoc in a family growing up with parents who had serious health issues. I too struggled with losing weight & developed an eating disorder that I was able to heal by educating myself on healthier habits. Itās amazing what our bodies can do when we learn to take care of them like God intended. These experiences & challenges fueled my passion to be a life long student in pursuit of learning how to create healthier lifestyles where one can thrive at their optimal best. As a mother of 3 children & a wife of a traveling husband, I quickly learned how to implement healthy habits on the go so that I could be my healthy best for my family. This has evolved into my health coaching business Thriving With Health where I coach people to integrate simple & fun healthy 'bitesā throughout their day even on their most busiest & challenging ones. You are never too busy to take care of your health & I can show you how. Everyone has busy lifestyles and living at their optimum best is not only doable but can be fun as well!
