These delicious & healthy treats are made with just a few ingredients that you can be assured have no processed chemicals in them that can hijack your brain and lead to overeating.
I love to share easy uncomplicated recipes that anyone can make in just a few minutes and not only are they yummy, they are good for you too especially if you add protein powder.
Note! Be sure you read the label on your protein powder to make sure there aren't any hidden sugars & additives.
There is no baking required and they can be made minutes before serving or beforehand and stored in a covered container in the refrigertor for up to 2 weeks if they don't get eaten first😊
TWH's Yummy Guilt Free No Bake Chocolate Chip Cookie Balls
Yields 24 cookie balls
Ingredients*
1 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup protein powder of choice (I like to use a plant based powder) or 1/2 cup almond flour or ground flaxseed
1/2+ cup nut butter of choice (peanut & almond are our favorites)
1/2-1 tsp vanilla to taste
1/2+ tsp cinamon to taste
water as needed to moisten
**Optional for added variety
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/2 cup hemp seeds
1/2 cup nuts of choice
*Please use organic when available
Preparation
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and roll into balls. Add more nut butter & water as needed to bind the ingredients well.
Store in a covered container for up to 2 weeks in the refrigertor.
