🐾 Healthy Pumpkin Apple Pup Biscuits
⏱ Prep: 20 minutes
🔥 Bake: 20–25 minutes
🌡 Oven: 350°F
🌿 Ingredients:
- 3 ½ cups oatmeal (blended into flour)
(keep ~¼ cup aside for rolling)
OR shortcut option:
Use whole oats and skip rolling—just scoop & flatten
- ¾+ cup pumpkin puree (start small and add as needed)
- 1 medium apple (grated) or ½ cup applesauce
✨ Optional “Fresh Breath” Add-Ins:
- 1 tsp cinnamon (if tolerated)
- ¼ cup finely minced parsley
🥣 Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Blend oats into flour (or use whole oats for shortcut version)
- Mix pumpkin + apple/applesauce
- Add oat flour and combine until dough forms
- Add optional cinnamon/parsley if using
- Knead gently (3–4 times) until dough is firm but not sticky
- Roll out to about ¼ inch thick
- Cut into fun shapes 🐶
- Place on parchment-lined baking sheet
- Bake 20–25 minutes
Tip:
Turn off oven and let treats sit inside for ~30 minutes if you want them firmer
